Eve Hewitt the incident on the 98 wasn’t a driver error. And there was no previous contact and cerb riding is definitely not an issue here.

This article is misleading. 12 cars were sent to the back because of the way a rule was enforced. During the red flag, the race clock kept ticking while the drive time stopped. This was not the fault of any team that put their drivers in with ample time remaining in the race

John Edwards I cannot fathom the sense in maintaining the drive time rule in this situation. It’s not like anyone pre empted the red for that reason.
