First time in Australia, here for my fourth SMACC (still a little bummed I missed the first two😏) Sydney is amazing, so glad I made it. And the opening talk by Gill Hicks was so powerful and moving that the trip is worthwile already. Live with purpose. #smacc

Loved the talk on sepsis by @HalliePrescott and loved this slide. Visualizes in a great way what we try to do/should do in the E.D. which is to risk stratify #SMACC

Some of the highlights for me at the #smacc conferences (well, together with a whole bunch of other stuff) are always the fluid talks or debates - or chats as they renamed it today since all on stage agreed on basically everything:) @JAMyburgh is a master of the deadpan answer:)

I don’t like to hear it but know it and need to acknowledge it - along with many who work in health care. Sleep deprivation might be one of our biggest health issues in the 21st century. Thanks Andrew Davies for sharing your story. #SMACC
