Johnson County is in a red flag warning today from Noon-8 pm due to dry conditions. Gusty winds could spread fires quickly. Please be careful and don't burn anything today.

Weather 3-14: Strong-Severe Storms are expected to move through JoCo between 6PM-12 AM tonight. Main threat will be damaging winds, gusting upwards to 60-80 mph, with embedded tornadoes being the secondary threat. Wind Advisory & Red Flag Warning is in effect at 1 PM today.

Effective today, JCPH will no longer distribute COVID-19 test kits. The State Hygienic Lab will process any previously distributed kits until 4/18/25. Please continue practicing preventive health measures & contact your doctor with any questions regarding COVID-19 testing.
