I would love for ToD/hearing professionals working with deaf children to believe in the importance of ‘language before speech’ and not to surround their focus on audio/speech first.

Meanwhile me, a deaf person living in the UK will have to wait outside the GP in the morning because I don’t use the phone and the GP doesn’t offer email/text and then be told all the appointments are gone and to come back the next day or wait for two weeks.
