Please can everyone ask the BBC why it insists on “respecting” pronouns in crime stories. You could write this easily without using any pronouns at all - if they really can’t bring themselves to be accurate and use “he”. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

Remember when booksellers and librarians, in the face of death threats, kept on displaying and selling Satanic Verses? Well today, librarians are too scared to display a book that has dared to question gender ideology. Let that sink in. thetimes.com/uk/scotland/ar…

Silence on the Original Story The BBC never covered Charlotte’s original investigation. They have never run a story on the confirmed School of Sanctuary Valentine’s events. Yet they do cover the organisation extensively, though it’s more PR than journalism.

When the Stonewall podcast by Stephen Nolan and myself was shortlisted for the ARIAs, LGBTQ+ activists threatened a walkout. The organisers went to extraordinary lengths to placate them, and still do. Will get round to telling the whole story one day. Here’s another example:

Extraordinary interview with the Equality Network Director. EN is government funded. The claim that the Peggie tribunal “fits the hateful, dominant narrative” is particularly jaw dropping. heraldscotland.com/news/25413097.…

It also makes mention of the equal treatment bench book, but that was updated last year to clarify that preferred pronouns DO NOT have to be respected in a court setting, so why are they still doing it? 5/6

BBC describes madman as a woman and doesn’t see the problem. We talk about trust in institutions - surely the BBC can see if it misreports facts it’s doomed. Calling transgender samurai killer a woman was accurate, insists BBC telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/08/2…

Jo-Anne Pugh (@jbpugh) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Thing is - the audience can see the BBC is taking a position here. You can see the workings. So why trust it on stuff that’s really complicate eg the Middle East? Slowly destroying the brand.

It should be noted that school mass shooters were first incel people now trans people. Detransitioners told me that trans is a direct spinoff of incel culture. Very few people address the incel crisis.
