The number of young people aged 16-24 not in education, employment or training has been low for several years. At the end of 2022, the rate was 12.3%, nearly down a quarter since 2010.

Local careers hubs work hard so students know what options are available to them when they leave school. With at least 6 encounters with a careers adv during their school careers, students learn about apprenticeships, T Levels and other vocational, technical and skills pathways.

This year D2N2 Careers Hub has exciting opportunities for our schools & colleges! Teachers, come and experience workplaces, and recruitment processes & chat with employers! Students we have the return of Open Doors and families come to our apprenticeship learning events!

Plus we still have our masterclasses for Careers Leaders every month, our collaboration with DEBP CIO on Supported Insight Schemes, Apprenticeship roadshows, and collaboration with the Institute of Technology. This year is going to be a fab one! ✨🙌

D2N2 is seeking delivery partners for Wave 5 of Skills Bootcamps Skills Bootcamps are free, flexible courses of up to 16 weeks for adults aged 19 or over. They give people the opportunity to build up valuable sector-specific skills based on local demand bit.ly/3EiEIHB
