UK Health Security Agency Blog suggests the only IPC intervention is hand hygiene. If staff hand hygiene in hospitals is regularly reported as being >90% compliant, might there be another mode of spread to consider? Should airborne precautions be routine? Or is the hand hygiene data rubbish? Or both?

After working in A&E for just a little over a month, I thought I'd share my experiences as one of the front line doctors facing the current/ongoing crisis happening across our country. A quarter through my placement, I already feel burned out and morally fatigued. 1/20.
