The Plainsmen officially started the season this weekend in Arizona. Jaylay Ruffin and Jackson Trout are the first Plainsmen baseball student-athletes who are awarded the DDC Player of the Game.

Southeast completed the weekend sweep of the Plainsmen with a 17-6 8-inning victory in the nightcap. We visited with our Plainsman of the Weekend Jaylan Ruffin on the post-game show. He went 7-14 and drove in 2 runs, one of which tied the game in the 9th last night!

The Plainsmen win the series 2-1 over SECC over the weekend. Jackson Trout, Jaylan Ruffin and Logan Heath were all DDC Players of the Game. Playoffs begin next weekend. #builtbynortheastern
