This takes me back. 80s tv quizzes with pot pourri as a question topic. Was it only the one show or did Bullseye have it too? I never understood why anyone would want to answer questions on pot pourri.

The older the English Bluebell, the more ‘bells’ it has, adding new ones each year as the bulb and root system increases in size An individual plant can live for at least fifteen years, and a plant like this would produce over 150 seeds annually

Aesculus rosea ‘Nana’ – a unique dwarf horse chestnut tree, in our Alpinum Garden, that’ll grow no more than 3ft in height and spread. It produces tall upright panicles of small salmon-pink flowers in May/June that are fantastic at attracting bees and butterflies 🐝

We’re here to enthuse about #roses but giving over our little #rosy space to share this news. The challenges specialist rose & plant nurseries face are mounting, if they are to survive they need our custom & support. They are the lifeblood of British 🇬🇧 horticulture. #GardeningX

‘Masting’ is the synchronized production of large numbers of seeds by a tree population in a year, followed by years of lower numbers It allows trees to overwhelm seed predators to ensure that some seeds will survive It is believed weather patterns play a role 1/2

Things are coming together now. Still need permanent electrical run and some plants will shift into the unheated greenhouse later on but the basics are done.😍🌱🪴🌵 #MyGreenhouse #Gardening #Flowers #GulfOfMexico #Plants #FlowerReport
