Coaching is a service industry. How kids experience coaching does more good or more damage than most people can imagine. How coaches make kids feel impacts many areas of their lives: how they learn/grow, their perception of authority & in turn, their futures. Serve the kids well!

Self-doubt can rob you of all you can be. It causes you to second guess yourself & the things you know. It steals your positivity & adversely affects everything in your life. Once it starts, it’s hard to let it go. Avoid that cycle by knowing your value & truly believing in it!

Congrats to Varsity softball for defeating Lee’s Summit 5-3 to finish the regular season. Kiara S. picked up the win. Allie S, Kiara S, and Paityn F had 2 hits for the lady broncos. Alexis H homered as well. Next action is next Tuesday in districts at 1 pm vs Lee’s Summit.

Taking sports away from a kid struggling academically has always been confusing to me. Usually, the kid isn't struggling academically because of his time spent on athletics...it's the time he spends doing unimportant bullshit.
