Got the first part of the robot arm composite Basalt Fiber layup ready!

My vision for robot arms I build is to have them network attached with no teach pendant. Phones are everywhere, and if a wired solution is need then Ethernet could be used. Initially, wireless via the ESP32 will be the connection method, and only do minimal onboard processing.

Could be a service where a LLM based system gives a diagnosis and plan based on test results and initial data, then multiple doctors give their opinion on the LLMs results. Not foolproof, but hopefully would lead to better outcomes.

Was trying out Sora, and it did a pretty ok job, using my render, at making my robot arm weld :)

And Sora is pretty good with putting my robot dog in a concept environment :)

Put together a mostly done design / render of mini-version of the robot arm using servos for the lifting actuators. I adapted gripper parts from the SO101 arm by Huggingface. I think this may get built before the more complex main arm and give me something to try out :)

Would be cool to do this for factory operations - by station and task - see where the majority of energy is going at any one time

Very cool indeed. Another accessible way to make parts! Sheet metal is a rather useful option when designing parts or frames.
