Who else does this? 😅 I DO keep proper backups, on another computer! Two, in fact. I also backup off-site occasionally just in case my house falls into a back hole. This insanity is an extra level of protection. I can go back in time and see what I had months ago if needed.

Happy Sunday everyone! Are we writing, or taking the day off? I took an hour this morning to knock a few editing items off the to-do list. Now I'm officially 10% through my personal list of things to fix. With that out of the way, it's time to get back to real life. 🥲

Writers, and authors! I'm curious how many of us are professionals vs hobbyists. Pro - pursuing writing/publishing to make, or significantly supplement income. Hobby - How well my work sells is of little consequence to my livelihood.

The things I find while editing are so fun. Can't decide between a comma, or a period? Use both! Don't let those pesky grammar rules box you in. Follow me for more amazing writing tips.

I have no idea what I'm doing. I just have a thrilling, emotional story I want the world to read, and love as much as I do. How many editors do I need? Query? Comps? Self publish? Print? Promote? I had no idea what I was getting into when I tapped out my opening lines. 😅

I'm down to a final list of fixes before I'm ready for beta readers! I'm setting a deadline for 9/22 to be finished! We'll see how this goes! So exciting!! 🤩

Recently I added two scenes to my ms to provide a little boost to some characters. Both scenes have transformed into gems that help define the emotional tone of the characters, and story. Love it!

Editing is going great! On track to meet or beat my 9/22 'beta ready' deadline. 🥳 I've settled on my title! Will do an official reveal soon. No cover yet, though, so it'll be text only for now.

There are a lot of authors out there. I've come up with four different FMC names I like for a new short story, and when I search the web for them, a Goodreads author profile shows up every time. 🤣

I had two writing concepts pop into my head while showering. I did my best to hold them in memory while I finished the shower, dressed, and made it to my computer to note them. Only one survived. 🤪
