I said I’d never ride in the city and didn’t touch a bike for ~20+ yrs. Today I rode on the Great Highway to the zoo and then up through the park around the Polo Fields to Simple Pleasures and home. Such fun!! 🤩 Now I know what all the fuss is about! 🚴 💛

First soldering project is a wild success. Oldest kid salvaged the motor system from a dead RC boat and grabbed some Lego tires he attached to the motors. My job was to solder the connections back together. Youngest kid helped make the paper airplane. Turned out so good!! 💨

An entire young family was killed by an errant motorist and the SFMTA is still half assing safety improvements. The convenience of motorists is not more important than people’s lives. Plastic straws, thoughts and prayers do not stop tons of steel. Cement does.
