Critical NFLPA issue: Will the NFL do what's best for the players by maximizing game fees with ESPN? Or will it do it's best to raise the value of ESPN by keeping costs lower for games, thus taking money from players, the league's partner in the CBA?

I don't think the meeting was a failure, but let's not pretend that Trump didn't say what he said. He expected to negotiate a cease-fire. It didn't happen and he didn't respond with force the way he normally responds with force. I'm not sure that qualifies as a "step forward."

Today at Go Long, Matt Schaub details why he’s running for Executive Director of the NFLPA. Billions are at stake. Players need leverage. The 17-year vet knows exactly how to make that happen. “We are the game.” With Jason Cole: golongtd.com/p/matt-schaub-…

This is a pretty strong look at some possibilities for the next CBA and needs for NFLPA leadership by Matt Schaub who is making his case to run the NFLPA golongtd.com/p/matt-schaub-…

This is an incredible pitch by Matt Schaub to be the next NFLPA Executive Director. If I was voting, he would 100% have my vote for the position. He lays out the issues the NFLPA is facing and what it all means for the next CBA so well. This is the type of advocate players need.

"Why can’t we, as players, hire the people to operate the game the way the owners operate the game?" Players need leverage ahead of CBA negotiations? Players can create their own league, write Matt Schaub & Jason Cole at Go Long: golongtd.com/p/matt-schaub-…

BREAKING: Trump just posted on Truth Social complaining that "The Smithsonian is OUT OF CONTROL" by mentioning "how bad Slavery was." Take a long hard look, Donald. Slavery was bad.

This is what happens when you don’t get to play enough in college and then get hurt in pros. Good kid, great athlete, bad results

Trump: "Don’t tear down Robert E. Lee." Trump: Proud Boys, stand back and stand by. Trump at Charlottesville: Nazis are “very fine people.” Trump at Mar-a-Lago: neo-Nazis are dinner guests. Trump at the Smithsonian: slavery is “too negative.” There’s no mystery where he stands.

Dear @jilllianmichaels, the reason Castro received so much support from the Cuban population BEFORE the revolution was Batista’s methods, which included murdering his enemies & overtaxing the poor as he stole from his country. Yes, people fled under Castro. But Batista was awful

Two points 1. NFLPA reps, Exec Committee and JC Tretter went from hiring Executive Director who stole $397M from the government to an interim director who led a cover up of pedophiles 2. WTH search was Russell Reynolds doing?

ICE try to break into barbershop when owner won't open door without a warrant—threaten to go after his parents. Agent: "I'm going to go get your dad—and I'm going to get your mom!" Witness: "Y'all can't tell him that, though. His mom?" Agent: "Yes we can. That's how we do."

Jason Cole (@jasoncole62) 's Twitter Profile Photo

1. This is interesting because a player agent is required to present all offers to a client. 2. Jerry Jones again admits that he bypassed the agent in the Micah Parsons deal. You simply can't do that.

Jason Cole (@jasoncole62) 's Twitter Profile Photo

WTH are we doing? This is blatantly un-American. You can't be breaking down doors and destroying property without warrants and documentation.

Just a reminder, we’re waiting for the government to release those government Epstein files (not the grand jury stuff) that Pam Bondi, Kash Patel and JD Vance said should be released.

This is the kind of crap the owners tried to play on the players in the early 1970s and before. Owners know they have a huge advantage over players in negotiations. It’s a total abuse of the relationship
