Not to be that guy, but we haven’t seen a pass for the lead in the Knoxville Nationals Championship A since 2022. Larson won in wire-to-wire fashion the last two years, now Timms has led the first 25. Last pass for the lead was when Schatz overtook Gravel on Lap 46 in ‘22.

In case you were curious… It’s been 𝟮𝟮 𝗬𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗦 and 13 days since Donny Schatz did not compete in a World of Outlaws event — the undisputed longest streak in series history. Exactly 1,600 consecutive races have passed since that day at Atomic on 7/31/03.

The only surprising thing about this is it happening now and not later in the season. Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

Schatz to a High Limit Racing team would be the ultimate chess move by Larson & Sweet. Can think of a couple rides he could get in today.

I felt like it was time to make a change. This sport should not be driven by money and politics. Our industry has multiple chassis, multiple shock brands, multiple engine builders, multiple race fuels… we should also have multiple tire choices.
