Proud teacher 👩‍🏫 moment. So a little story... this is one of my students and in science for the past weeks we have been learning about science and being a scientist and everything that revolves around it. Yesterday, he was observing the rocks. Today , he wrote the observations.

My heart It’s so heartbreaking and sweet to see this thank you letter. It makes me proud to know they getting their writing done , but it is sad to see that the regular interactions we could of have if not for this pandemic. I wish it could be over soon, so I can give the Hugs!

Reading Academy is encouraging Multicultural literature. This reminds me of one of the sessions I attended during my Latinos for Education fellowship. I will make it one of my goals to prioritize this and expose my students to different cultures. So excited for this upcoming year!

Life update: after two great years at Pugh Elementary, I made the hard decision of leaving and spreading my wings to another campus. I’m now officially apart of @YESPrep public schools as a kindergarten bilingual teacher 👩‍🏫. #yesperience
