12 Feb 1973-Operation Homecoming-the return of our Vietnam War POW's commences as 3 C-141 transports flew to Hanoi, North Vietnam, and 1 C-9A aircraft was sent to Saigon, to pick up released prisoners of war. There were 54 C-141 missions flying out of Hanoi, bringing POWs home.
