22.05.2025: Today I attended the burial of our neighbour back at home. Interesting fact about Oyugis Town; It was formerly known as Achuna (As the people were forced to use that space as the designated market place. The original Oyugis used to be at Damoda/Thur kowango.

Today while on a hike on one of the hills in Nyanza, Got Kisuri in Wire, I came across Ochuoga commonly known as conkerberry.

The pattern that the Maidenhair Fern has on its leaves is something to awe. I came across this one while doing a hike at Wire Hills.

I captured a section of the rolling hills of Homabay County, such a magnificent view! On the far end you can see Lake Victoria and Buru Hill Carbonatite Intrusion which contains rare earth elements (iron ore mining) Wire Hills which is 1663m by elevation.
