Thank you to our four volunteers from BDO who joined us at Mary Queen of Peace yesterday to deliver the Our Community/Our Country program. We are proud to work with amazing volunteers who help make JA's mission possible, especially during National Volunteer Week.

Yesterday, volunteers from BDO taught students the importance of managing their money through the Dollars with Sense program. Volunteers worked in three different schools reaching over 180 students! Thank you to the volunteers and the schools who welcomed us in their classes!

This week Junior Achievement NL is in Happy Valley Goose Bay, Labrador visiting schools. Today, Happy Goose Bay volunteers and the JA team spent the day at Queen of Peace Middle School and Mealy Mountain Collegiate delivering programs to 219 students, with more to come!

An exciting day in Happy Valley-Goose Bay! For the very first time, we introduced JA Ourselves, a program originally created by JA Southern Alberta. As well, our Labrador volunteers and JA staff delivered the Our Community/Our Country program to classes of grade 3 students.

Today was Junior Achievement's last day in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador. After three full days of programming, we reached 555 students ranging from elementary to high school with programs! Thank you to our dedicated volunteers for all their help.

Junior Achievers played a significant role at the recent JA Newfoundland and Labrador Business Hall of Fame gala. Thank you to Achievers who performed various roles. You were a big part of the success of the evening.

It isn’t often our whole office gets dressed up – so we are taking the opportunity to showcase our team! They make it possible for JA Newfoundland and Labrador to achieve its mission of preparing young people for success in the global economy.

Last week three of our company program students attended JA Camp Success During the 3 day camp, students had the opportunity to build their resiliency skills, practice mindfulness, and build essential skills that they will take with them on future endeavors!

As we reach the end of the school year, we are reflecting on the great year we have had serving youth with programming on financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship! Thank you to Enterprise for their support this year!
