How can Parliament be SO out of touch with the people it’s supposed to represent?

Those who follow me will know I have supported assisted suicide for some time. However, after seeing parliament vote tonight to decriminalise abortion up until birth, I no longer have faith in them on this issue. They clearly have no regard whatsoever for the sanctity of life.

Whatever you believe about when life begins, whether you’re pro-choice or not, abortion when the baby can survive outside the womb is evidently murder. Parliament simply cannot have the authority to grant such a ‘right.’

There is a difference between calling for more compassionate treatment of women in this situation and legalising the termination of babies who can survive outside of the womb. A big difference.
