FWIW, I haven't seen the current level of excitement in the marketplace for feature spec material since at least 2022. There is a real hunger out there for great, unique material. Especially scripts can attract top-tier actors, as packaging is often still key in selling it.

I share your frustration but I understand the question. All scripts are entertaining so why buy your script? Does it have social relevance to appeal to a larger audience beyond the limited appeal of genre and cast? IOW, can your script make more money than other scripts?

Some heroes do wear capes. Rodger the superdog is in training with BC & Alberta Guide Dogs and loved the #Superman movie by James Gunn but he wanted more scenes with Krypto. He was seriously obsessed with Krypto and very worried when he heard Krypto cry.
