Yard Waste Site stickers are available for 2025 in our Customer Service Office, 92 Steele St., weekdays. The Site opens 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. Sat. starting April 12, & 4-7 p.m. Wed. starting May 7th. Stickers are free to garbage/recycling customers who pay for the service.

When snow gets deep around fire hydrants, if you're in good health, you may consider shoveling to keep hydrants clear for emergencies. Firefighters throughout our area shovel out hydrants during winter, but they could use our help. You must be in good health to do this, however.

We have a main break on Curtis St. in the City, which is causing discolored water on the north side of Jamestown. While repairs are made, water may be discolored for 12-24 hrs. Main breaks and turning water off and on stir and discolor the water.
