Last day in Tokyo: Senso-ji temple and Nakamise-dori Street. Then up the Skytree. Highlight of the day: we caught the Asakusa Sumo Show this evening - lots of fun! #SumoLife 🤩❤️🇯🇵

We’re in Osaka today - visited the rather splendid castle 大阪城天守閣 then had a stroll around the Dontobori district.

Went on the mighty bullet train to Kyoto today - former capital of Japan, and residence of the emperor until 1868.

Kochi today - we visited the ancient castle and then caught the local #YOSAKOI festival of dance. Vibrant, elegant and energetic. ❤️🇯🇵

We’re in Hiroshima today. Incredible to visit the UNESCO Peace Memorial 80 years after the horrifying event of 6.8.45. Also visited the beautiful Itsukushima Island Shrine. 🕊️
