E-AHPBA @HPBjournal IHPBA Prof Steve Wigmore James Halle-Smith Bobby VM Dasari Robert Sutcliffe Big drop in error rate when eus introduced. But low rate ongoing misdiagnosis despite eus + some samples mimicking cancer. What is acceptable error rate/ reasonable diagnostic pathway and not death by mdt and indecision? Thanks to James Halle-Smith for another nice study

Prof Keith Roberts E-AHPBA @HPBjournal IHPBA Prof Steve Wigmore James Halle-Smith Bobby VM Dasari Robert Sutcliffe Congratulations. Very interesting. My experience is that even in best MDT you will have some pancreatic resection for with benign post op histology. On the other hand how often you have false negatives pre-op? EUS is the most helpful tool.

This will, without doubt, be one of the finest moments of my career. So very humbled to receive this award. Far too many people to thank here. Huge congratulations to my fellow nominees and to the ASiT committee. Let keep the work going

Doctors: use vignettes! 🧵 You’ve done a gazillion exams and what do all patient-based questions have? That’s right, a clinical vignette. Heres a secret in medicine: you can use the “skill of the vignette” to get what you want and to communicate better than ever.
