We are pleased to make the following statement in regard to the local elections for Southampton City Council. We would like to thank our partners in the Southampton Green Party for their constructive and positive engagement.

Great to be back out on the doors canvassing for Richard Blackman ๐ถ to win in Bassett in less than 3 weeks time Southampton Lib Dems

Great to see so many garden stakeboards going up across the city, particularly in Bassett ward. All hotting up as we approach decision day on 5th May for our city. #votelibdem Romsey & Southampton North Lib Dems ๐ถ

So happy with this result, we're back on Southampton City Council! Many congratulations Richard Blackman ๐ถ

Oh well played Joe Lycett

Today is #TransDayOfVisibility - a day to celebrate incredible trans individuals from all walks of life and reaffirm our commitment to ending transphobia. From Southwark to Edinburgh, Liberal Democrats are fighting for our trans communities โ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ #TransRightsAreHumanRights #TDOV

The Romsey & Southampton North Lib Dems ๐ถ team are in Somerton & Frome today with Ed Davey and the Liberal Democrats supporting Sarah Dyke MP ๐ถ. Thanks to everyone for making the trip up today.

Have been canvassing for Geoff Cooper to be elected in Romsey and Southampton North 3 evenings this week, and a great reception each day. Less than a month to go now to get Geoff elected!

Thank you to all our dedicated Romsey & Southampton North Lib Dems ๐ถ volunteers for all their hard work! Itโs been another busy day of campaigning across the constituency today, whilst also dodging some incredible downpours! But as James saysโฆ nothing can dampen the Liberal Democrats mood at the moment!

My fellow Vice Chair (Lib Dems in England) puts this as well as anyone. Appalling decision by the new Govt, which I hope my own new Labour MP will call out Satvir Kaur
