What an amazing collaboration with Nike, Snipes and The Holmes Experience. Together we were able to give away 50 iPads, provide a shopping experience with gift cards and offer free breakfast for 50 families. Nike SNIPES_USA

Feed The Community Event 2022 ‼️

I received the “Role Model Alumni Award” at NYC Men Teach Day Leadership Reception. This is the first award of its kind and it was presented to me in honor of my dedicated work in the classroom and my ecosystem of empathy and support that I’ve created for my students.

Only 7% of teachers in America today are black. That has to change. U.S. Department of Education is focused on building talented & diverse pipeline programs to ensure teachers in every school represent the rich diversity of the students they teach. #BlackHistoryMonth ed.gov/teaching

National Night Out was a Success‼️

Gratitude fills my heart as I reflect on our 2nd annual Feed the Community event. With 100 turkeys, hot meals, and warm clothing distributed, it’s a testament to the power of community. Huge thanks to everyone involved, from volunteers to students, for making today truly special.

What an incredible day at our Back-to-School Block Party this past Thursday! We distributed around 360 backpacks to eager students and their families, ensuring they’re all set for a fantastic school year.

Thank you Target for the opportunity to be apart of the great gift giver. This act of kindness directly impact our families in a positive way and aligns with my mission.
