Here’s a question: I’m planning to start sharing/writing things online again, but don’t think I’m going to be doing the monster thing. Do I stick with the name anyway? Or do I go back to just being (and using) Jake Waldron? 🤔

The challenge for 2024: Twelve projects in twelve months Each one bringing an idea from a book or psychology to reality in order to live a better life The goal is to bring these ideas out from the books and turn them into something that can have a real impact

Being able to make things is pretty great I've been carrying around this tiny ratchet but wanted to be able to keep a handful of bits with it A little bit of modeling and some printing later, I’ve got the perfect case and it's been super helpful to have on me all the time

I’m the worst kind of self-help reader I found an old journal recently and I was saying the same shit ten years ago That’s why I’m building these projects. I want to actually change my life. I don’t want to just read good ideas and forget about them anymore

This book was probably what started me down a different path It was the first time I actually looked at how I was spending my time and what was giving vs taking energy, and then using that to plan a way forward

I’ve learned a lot of random skills over the years (anybody need some tiny resin eyeballs?) But the two most useful have been: • 3D CAD with something like Fusion 360 • Learning to code With those two things it’s possible to bring almost any idea to life
