It's here!! I am pleased and proud to share my article in the American Journal of Sociology with Mike Vuolo and twitterless Eric LaPlant! This paper was the culmination of many years of data collection and analysis and I am psyched it is out in the world. journals.uchicago.edu/doi/epdf/10.10…

I'm thrilled to see this in print! This paper examines asset exemption laws (wage and asset protections for those with unsecured debt in default). I study how they vary across states and how protectiveness relates to state-level economic insecurity. 1/11 journals.uchicago.edu/doi/10.1086/72…

🚨New paper alert. Check out my new work in Demography Journal with the best (Wes Wislar)! Pop research shows sexual minorities have worse health than heterosexuals & same for gender minorities relative to cisgender people. What about people who are both sexual & gender minorities?

Excited that this paper is out! @p_fomby and I describe nonresident parent wealth among children in the US using the PSID. We show that children likely have access to this wealth, and that it matters for their educational attainment in young adulthood.
