This fills me with anger, despair and utter hopelessness. Labour have gone after pensioners, parents on benefits and disabled people. Lots of disabled people want to work but putting up barriers like limiting PIP will only make it harder for them to work It's callous.

Agree 💯 The very purpose of Personal Independence Payments is to support disabled people with the cost of their disability and the cost of work. Cutting it would make it harder for many disabled people to get into work at all.

Pleased to get a commitment for action. Huge delays, costs & worries for those with permanent disabilities on renewing these awards, and unnecessary cost for councils too

This Labour government has gone for the elderly, women and now disabled. I don't think this is the sort of change the country voted for.

Also confirmed: 1. Urgent Question from Steve Darling MP: To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions if she will make a statement on the impact of changes to Personal Independence Payment on recipients of Carers Allowance.

Steve Darling MP (@stevedarlingmp) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Just now in Parliament, I raised serious concerns about the government’s proposed changes to Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and the devastating impact they could have on carers' allowances. These changes could see some carers facing financial losses of up to £12,000 a

First, it was British steel. Now, it's British cars. Who will stand for Britain? Not Keir Starmer. Not Kemi Badenoch. Not Nigel Farage. That much is clear

Apologies I’m only catching up on this news. I am so angry the Government is considering rolling back on the #HillsboroughLaw. It was a promise made to families who had been through hell and fought decades for justice. It’s contemptible to do anything but deliver it in full.
