College Day for our Career Week at Gum Spring Middle School !!!

Well… we had fun anyways. Always a good time representing Gum Spring Middle School at the Battle of Braddock!

Our Deeper Learning team at Gum Spring Middle School worked hard this year. My cohort focused on developing student agency, and today we had about 20 minutes to create a visual representation of agency on canvas. It's messy, but I love it!

💔 Found out that a former student passed away last night due to gun violence. Don’t know many specifics, but I’m sad that his life was so short and difficult. Thinking about his family today. 😢
