Every year around 9/11, I watch "The Man in the Red Bandana." It's a tribute to former Boston College lacrosse player Welles Crowther, who died after saving nearly 20 lives that day. Political debates don't matter in the grand scheme of things. Heroes like Welles do. ❤️🇺🇸

Twenty years ago tonight, on October 27, 2004, the Boston Red Sox won the World Series. It was something I never thought I’d see in my lifetime, and it’s almost inconceivable that I saw three more after this. May we never not get chills.

October 13, 2013: David Ortiz shifts the momentum of the ALCS with one swing. Another “how the HELL did he do that” moment that he seemed to have an endless supply of. And once again we jumped up on the guy’s back like he was the giant flying dog from "The Neverending Story."

What a scene in Brooklyn. The LIU Sharks didn’t have to win due to Mercyhurst’s reclassification … but Rod Strickland’s team wasn’t going to lose an NEC title game on its home floor and overlook this night. Sharks 79, Lakers 70. LIU is dancing for the first time since 2018.
