It’s Hispanic Heritage Month and we are celebrating real bad!

I created this page when I worked for The Neighborhoods, a place where I could use my everyday voice. Since then I’ve been at more buttoned up jobs but I’m not finna switch my voice on here. I’ve thought about it but I am who I am.

Today is Black Women’s Equal Pay Day. On average, Black women make just 58 cents for every dollar earned by their white male counterparts. That has to change.

We’re celebrating #BlackHistoryMonth at The Block by highlighting some of the Black-owned liquors on their shelves. This week, we’re featuring the Island Gyal cocktail made with Ciara’s Ten to One rum!

I love my clients deeply. I think it’s really because I’ve been a customer at both establishments for years. It’s a family affair fasho.
