This weekend the 22U Jacks are back on the diamond. Held at the Westmount Collegiate Institute in Thornhill, the 22U Jacks will be competing to be the Eastern representative in the Leaside-GTA League Championship game at Talbot Park on Monday night Northumberland Ball EOBA Baseball

The less said about tonight's opening game of the Leaside-GTA League championship tournament the better. The 22U Jacks will be back on the field in Thornhill tomorrow morning at 10am against the host team; hoping to put one in the win column. Northumberland Ball EOBA Baseball

1. Fielding a mish-mash lineup of 9, that included players playing out of position and a couple of younger call-ups, the 22U Jacks were walked off this morning by Thornhill in the Leaside-GTA playoffs, losing by a score of 10-9. Northumberland Ball EOBA Baseball

2. Kudos to those nine players who endured the heat today and played their hearts out to the point of exhaustion. A special shout out to Logan Kelly who struck out 13 batters in 6-and-1/3 innings on the mound. Northumberland Ball EOBA Baseball

Last year the 22U Jacks in their 1st season, finished in 4th place in the 2022 Provincial Eliminations. The 2023 tryouts/workouts for the 22U Jacks start on Sunday Feb. 5th at 9pm @ the Baltimore CC. For more information please send an email to [email protected]

Last night at Donegan Park, the 22U Jacks had to settle for a 5-5 tie with the visiting Oshawa 22U. But considering the lack of practices, exhibition games, and overall prep time and the fact that the boys were facing a 4-0 deficit before our 1st turn up at bat, we'll take it.

Last night saw the 22U Jacks travel up the #401 for a Sunday evening double dip in Scarborough. Despite it being rather chilly at the park the Jacks' bats were on fire and the pitchers were dealing in what turned out to be a 6-0 win in the 1st game and a 16-0 win in the 2nd game.

Another cool night, and our 3rd game in 2 night's against Scarborough, but this time at Donegan Park, saw the 22U Jacks win again, this time by an 11-1 score. The Jacks are back in action on Thursday night at Donegan against Whitby. But most importantly ... Happy Birthday "Tails"

Tonight at Donegan Park, the 22U Jacks produced a fitting end to the Victoria Day long weekend; sweeping both ends of a double-header with the visitors from Ajax by scores of 6-3 and 5-3. Two nights from now the boys travel up to Newmarket to face last season's National Champions

11-4 win tonight in Newmarket for the Jacks. A special shout out to Lucas Bolin, who threw 5 dominant innings allowed only 1 hit and struck out 10, and swatted one over the left field fence, the protective netting above that, and right out of the park. Well done "Showtime Ohtani"

The bugs were out in full force tonight in Pickering, no doubt helped by the fact that the diamond for this evening's game is carved out of a still operating horse farm. Despite the distractions the Jacks avenged last weeks home loss by returning the favor tonight in a 17-4 win.

First Saturday game of the season saw the Jacks travel up to Whitby, and despite having an extended "break" in the schedule the boys showed no ill-effects powering their way to a 10-6 win. Our next game on the schedule is back up here on Tuesday night; same diamond, same opponent

Last night in Newmarket ... a 9-0 deficit after four innings ... no problem for the @Jacks22U who left Don McKnight Field with an 11-10 win ... Back in action tonight at home at Donegan Park against Pickering, game starts at 7:30pm.

Today was supposed to be the season opener for the 22U Northumberland Jacks but as is sometimes the case, Mother Nature chose not to co-operate. As a result our first game will now be a week from this Thursday night at Donegan Park. EOBA Baseball Northumberland Ball

A solid outing for the boys resulted in a 4-1 win over Kendal in their opening game of the season ... a special shout to the four pitchers who held Kendal to a single run over eight innings ... and James Aronowicz who went deep in his first game as a Jack. Northumberland Ball

The Northumberland 22U Jacks Baseball Club are proud to announce the signing of Nolan Rice. A local product, Nolan is currently attending Fanshawe College, where he was recently named OCAA Player of the Week, in addition to being named to the OCAA Second All-Star team.

The Northumberland 22U Jacks Baseball Club are proud to announce the signing of Chase Lalande. A local product, Chase is currently attending Ottawa University, where he was the school's top recruit this past spring and just completed a highly productive rookie campaign.

This afternoon the Carleton Ravens won the 2024 Canadian National University Championship. A special congratulations to Jack Novak & Drew Tibbits, both members of the 22U Northumberland Jacks on this incredible achievement. Well done boys ... 👍
