Politics in art can be done, and if done right it can be extremely effective (War and Peace, Dr. Zhivago, Triumph ot Will) but this is VERY hard to do and more often than not falls flat or appears preachy. We need more hybrid political/artistic geniuses (unfortunately very rare).
