“UK braced for second heatwave.” Ridiculous headline. Millions of people love warm summer days. We don’t get many in the UK every year. That’s why millions of people travel to the Mediterranean every summer to find some warm temperatures.

Sickens me a little that there'll be teenagers whose worst England performance at a major tournament they remember was losing to France narrowly in the quarter finals...

Ollie Thomas R Genuinely before Southgate the best moments in living memory for most of us was a last minute free kick to qualify, a good goal in a losing quarter final and crouchy doing a robot 😂 we had more memorable moments in the 'shit' tournament of 2024 than in 2000-2017.

Warning: Nostalgia levels are high with this one. When ITV's rights deal came to an end in 2004, this is how Des Lynam signed off 'The Premiership' as Arsenal were crowned Invincibles. Cue U2.
