If a player doesn’t play HARD all the time, no athletic skill can offset that. Playing hard is a prerequisite to playing at all. Nobody succeeds making half an effort. Competing to win is a skill #SaturdayVibes

You can do the work & still not get the reward. Yes just bc you put the work in doesn’t mean your going to get there. Other side of the coin is if you don’t put the work in you have ZERO chance.

Failing isn’t fun. No one likes to fail. With that said look around all the greats have the mental fortitude to fail. & keep pressing forward. Dealing with failure may be the single most important thing there is. If you can deal w/ it you will see progress!

Baseball is SO MUCH MORE than a sport you play! It teaches life lessons. It prepares you for the challenges you are inevitably about to endure. It's the greatest game EVER 🙌💯
