Agree on this. Nurture Gray for a year as well plus bring some bite, defensive solidity and experience to the holding role.

Right time and right decision but what a player and what a person Son has been for this club. From being in the Paxton for his first goal v Palace, the solo goal v Chelsea, to lifting that trophy in Bilbao, he's given me some of my best memories at Spurs. So long, Captain.

Tottenham Hotspur have suffered yet another humiliation under Daniel Levy and ENIC’s reign following the failed move for Eberechi Eze. It is time to come together with 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐡𝐚𝐦 to push for a bigger, brighter future for our club with new owners. #THFC | #COYS | #TOTTENHAM

After the public embarrassment this summer I'm sure Spurs have doubled down and are working in the shadows. I'd expect some player links not in public domain to break soon. Whether they sign is another thing! #COYS

We are all disappointed with yesterday's result (my son's first ever game too). But imo perspective is needed. New manager. Almost nicked Super Cup, two really promising performances out of three in the league. Simons to come in, and hopefully more. Bound to be bumps as we go.

Since the last international break Spurs have had 7 games in 22 days, four away from home including a trip to the arctic circle. I get that there is still things to improve, but in this period: 4 wins, 3 draws, 0 defeats. You'd have to be a right moaner to be upset with that.

Swap Sarr for Gray and I like it. Gray has to start getting his chance in midfield. Muani might not be ready but worth a punt for an hour.

Disappointed to exit #CarabaoCup so early. Did I expect this after draw? Yes. Could Frank have done more? No, I don’t think so. Strong XI, pretty good performance - Xavi a positive - but errors let #THFC down. Extra injuries a concern. Big week ahead. 3 at home. 12th man needed!

Playing at home is starting to get into a few players' heads. Abysmal performance even from certain players who are usually so calm. Lots of work to do at top end of the pitch.
