Got one more update before the official simself family vacation to Granite Falls coming tonight. Reaper event was NOT for us. ✨J2J

Today seemed like a typical day, but that wasn’t the case… ✨J2J

…Kuro was not himself at all. He did not protest his latest outfit. He slept for most of the day. He ate only half his food. I already booked his vet visit and we just arrived, when I realized he wasn’t at my heel like he normally is. I’m the nervous cat mom. ✨J2J

I noticed my local vet clinic was small, but always busy. Still, a short wait. There were more pets in need than I thought, but that made sense with Jeni’s last update from Tomarang. I’ve missed veterinary medicine, but I’m not ready to come back. ✨J2J

After a few minutes into the exam, I readily approved his treatment. “Boy! That Woozykittyitis will creep up on ya. A Eudemonia Concentrate Shot will fix you right up Kuro.” “Was that all? I didn’t notice!” I admitted I’ve been inattentive lately. “All good here, NEXT!” ✨J2J

Back at the residential rental, I found my mom waiting by my backdoor? “I wanted to come by to thank you for setting us up here. You work so hard, I was just going to drop it off…” ✨J2J

“Aww mom, you didn’t have to...” “Oh stop it. It’s for you to take on vacation, so let’s start acting like it!” I blushed as I led mom over to the bubble blower to unwind together. Then, Nyree walked in. “Oh sorry hunny. Grandma can’t share these bubbles with you.” ✨J2J

The rest of my mom’s crew joined. I finished up a round of cards with my half sister, brother and their father. Inside, Nyree was already changed into PJ’s with Rad’s mom when I realized, I walked into a house party. My unofficial house party! ✨J2J

Nyree was so tired she put herself to bed while it was a relief to know Kuro was feeling much better. He was sure to let all know. ✨J2J

Kuro finished up his dinner before joining Nyree bedside, his new spot. A proper family vacation was just what everyone needed. I needed it. Granite Falls, here we come. ✨J2J
