This little fella is at a really fun age. Number four is fitting in quite nicely now days…

Grateful for my nephew Kain who caddied for his little cousin today. Kain is going to be a Sr and a member of our golf program at BHS. He’s pretty great to all my boys and today took the time to mentor Pete and help guide him to a 3rd place finish. Super proud of both these guys.

THANK YOU to the gentlemen in the pro shop at Quail Creek GC today who picked up the tab for my boys to play golf. Pete (10), Max (8), walked down from their grandmas today looking to go tee it up & scored a 1:50 tee time this afternoon. Some kind soul took care of them.

AWESOME stuff Cam, couldn’t be more proud of you. Cam was part of our first team in Brownsburg, a team that shocked the Martinsville sectional by winning that day back in June of ‘19. Not at all surprised by your most recent success, well played my man!

This is incredible stuff. Ted Scott is such a rock solid human being & I can attest to that. He & Scottie’s mindset, the two of them together are a wicked combo & there is NO doubt why they’ve had & will continue to have HUGE success. Perspective is a beautiful thing!

I can’t get it through his head that golf camp ended a week ago. So this is how we’ve started about every day this week…

Pete wrapped up his summer of competitive golf today. Katie & I are so proud of the way he competed all summer long. He’s REALLY embraced our mindset of 1) have a great attitude, 2) try your best & 3) make a friend. He went 6 for 6 this summer checking those boxes.

Special thank you to these 3 special individuals who took time out their schedules to caddie and be a part of this journey. Pete thinks the world of these guys and they are salt of the earth kind of gentlemen!

RIP, Ryno. I spent many a summer afternoon watching Harry Carey drunkenly call Shawon Dunston and Ryne Sandberg double plays. Between Hulk Hogan, Malcolm Jamal Warner and Sandberg it has been a tough week for 1980’s kids.

And just like that our fall is in full swing. 3 of the 4 playing football already…
