She nodded, "Helping people is the most important part, but we're lucky we get to do it in a way that's this awesome." She was silent for a moment, before chuckling "I mean, we get to protect the city...with blasters and giant machines. Definitely exciting."

As soon as Zoey sees the familiar figure, she ducks behind the nearest source of cover and calls the others for backup. This definitely isn't a fight she wants to face on her own.

She stood up, glaring at him. “I thought we destroyed you?”

“We did it once, we can do it again.” She’s silent for a moment, before adding: “Why find me? Or are you just scared of fighting all of us at once?”

Not without a fight. “Activate Beast Power! Transport, Beast-X Blaster.” She fired a blast straight into his arm, hoping to make him let go.

As Zoey reached the location where a strange signal had been detected, she realised someone else had managed to get their first. She tried to place the Ranger design to a team, but couldn’t. Making a metal note to ask them later, she ran to join them. “Activate Beast Power!”

Zoey ran into the fight, blasting back those closest to the red figure before joining them. “I’ve got your back.”

“That I can do.” She replies with a nod. Jumping higher than a normal human could, she destroyed a number of them from the air before landing safely close by.

"...Since when have you had a concept of 'sass' ?"

"You...you can't. You're just programming..."

As there was no one else nearby, Zoey demorphed. Spinning cloud surrounded the yellow ranger, before dispersing to reveal her usual clothing. "Hi," She smiled, "I'm Zoey. Thanks for your help."

"I'm not the one who wanted to take over the world, Evox." After a moment, she added "What's with the sudden new interest in Nate, anyway?"

"...Why now? When we found out, your blast hit him as much as the rest of us." her voice was filled with suspicion.

...Zoey's gonna need a moment to process that. "Wait...what?"
