I enjoy my inside reading chair, but I live for these days on the front porch. Today, I am accompanied by Steven Searcy Below the Brightness, John Moriarty, and my cat Patroclus.

I’m pleased as all get-out to have this *rimas dissolutas* in the new issue of Nimrod Journal, whose EIC is the formidable Boris Dralyuk.

It’s a treat to have a poem published in Joie de Vivre — the issues are full of beautiful art, including custom illustrations for each original poem. Many thanks to editor Daniel Fitzpatrick!

Today at NVR, Carter Davis Johnson returns to review Steven Searcy's (Steven Searcy) debut collection Below the Brightness. Find it 👇. "Of Searcy’s many compelling formal structures, some of my favorite are his spare dimeter and monometer poems."
