All #FCP s, agreed national guidelines during lockdown are to provide F2F in line with GP practice. Just virtual increases risk of missing red flags/early pathology, increases investigations and on referal. GPs open as usual, so are we Andrew Bennett Larry Koyama

Anecdotally we are seeing an increase in serious pathology coming through MSK services NOT just spinal but sarcomas , MND , need to be really aware of serious pathology as a differential diagnosis @mercephysio Sue Greenhalgh OBE MACP

Well done for a slick vaccination process yesterday YDH! Was impressed and all whilst keeping a cheery attitude, could detect lots of smiles behind those masks. @YeovilHospital Somerset NHS Foundation Trust #proudtoworkfortheNHS #fightagainstcovid19

Are you an experienced B6 or B7 who would like to work with physiotherapists AND podiatrists in an integrated service? This is a great opportunity to broaden your horizons as an AHP leader in a beautiful part of the country! Somerset AHPs Clare Boobyer-Jones Carrie Biddle

I passed stage 1 of the FCP taught route at Plymouth Uni and am so pleased with my results. To do this whilst on mat leave and running after 2 little boys full time has been challenging. Time for a glass to celebrate! Liz Oxley thank you for being a wonderful mentor.

I went to Uni with Catrin, Nathan’s wife. This is beyond sad after an already terrible year for them. Following a triathlon accident he is now left with a major spinal injury and brain injury. Please read their story and donate if you can. gofundme.com/f/nathan-ford?…

This will be of interest to #fcp and #APP - discussions around tramadol- I can think of a patient I saw this week who was on long term tramadol for persistent non-specific mechanical low back pain. Shared decision making plan ➡️pain management service. #nmp

Stage 2 of the FCP Taught route passed! So pleased to have completed whilst looking after 2 very young little boys. Thank you to all those that helped, a particular mention to Liz Oxley for being a stand out mentor and Sue May at Plymouth Uni who led the modules.
