I really hate when something positive happens to someone and another person’s first instinct is to say something negative. You don’t have to make everyone feel as miserable as you feel. Keep that shit to yourself.

My favorite thing to do is look at very vague, historical figures and write original stories for them. Figures that have absolutely no concrete biography.

I’ve been feeling really depressed, so writing has been a struggle but last night I managed to write 1800 words. We’re so back.

I've felt this way before. My main two stories currently deal with dark topics such as abuse in relationships, and the main relationship is not the best one, but it is still there. I just don't find interest in writing romcoms at the moment.

I know i've been slightly inactive but would anyone be interested in reading a short story when I finally finish it? It is a queer romance however, it has dark themes such as mentions of violence, abuse, etc. That said, i'd like to share it with some people

And yet, that's not what OP is talking about. And I think you are aware of that, OP is discussing colorism, racism and misogynoir, and here you are fighting to depend a depiction of a dark skinned wlw who is described in the story as aggressive, brutish, and a predator
