An update to the remarks from a QIDI Tech employee. More than satisfactory in my opinion, lets see if the follow through matches this response.

Finally an announcement. Better late than never. Glad to see something come of this through public channels. Good on you QIDI Tech for stepping up! Let's get the fixed rolled out to those qualified and replacements/refunds to those that are not :)

For anyone put off doing my 'Project Mastodon' 5015 upgrade for the Prusa3D XL because of the need to drill the gantry cover, thanks to a user suggestion; I have updated the front left Core XY mount so that no drilling is required. printables.com/model/1234798-…

Responding to user feedback, I've updated my Prusa3D XL heatbed MCU cover with a location to install a KSD9700 thermal switch to automatically cycle the fan as required. The fan will cycle in at 40°C and cycle out at around 30-35°C. printables.com/model/859808-i…
