Great update from Allan Rattey on InterGrain’s suite of oaten hay varieties in today's Farm Weekly. New varieties such as Wallaby, Archer & Goldie are offering a wider range maturities, improved yield & quality to the farming system. Read it here - farmweekly.com.au/story/8953871/…

More goes into developing wheat varieties than you might think. 3D imaging of a bread loaf is a fast way to measure volume and a successful way to break timelapse InterGrain

Oats are Just Right for early sowing into deep moisture. No rain in sight, Christopher Fuller put #Oat seed down fert tube ~2 weeks ago near Wagga. Happy days!!! Initial research with CSIRO + DPIRD for WA sand, but works in soil East Coast too 😁

Oat phenology 🌱 We're running an experiment to help understand: - how early can we sow oats to minimise risk - if the critical period for spring oats is different to wheat & barley - simulating grazing to understand the impact on phenology & biomass Allan Rattey

Thanks so much to InterGrain for hosting us today for our annual ARC Linkage Project meeting on barley roots and yield stability. So fortunate to be working with great industry partners and motivated early career researchers

Great research from Blakely Paynter DPIRD Broadacre - WA Grains & Livestock on nitrogen response of some of the new milling oat varieties. These grain quality results largely align with results from our April sown oat trials. Thanks for sharing Blakely and team DPIRD.

Northern WA Territory Manager Richard Marsland helping to seed an oat demo trial at Mingenew, WA. This demo will put Goldie, Minnie, Kultarr, Wallaby, Archer & Bannister to the test. Thanks to Smyth Agri services & Moss Ag for their help.

It’s great to see the later planted crops emerging at Bowenville, Qld. #JumbuckWheat for seed increase and #NeoCL looking 👍 InterGrain
