Did Carl Jung ever write about lucid dreaming? Jung used Active Imagination to let the ego consciously interact with the subconscious. This is exactly what lucid dreaming allowes one to do as well.

Whew, just back from my first time ever doing Active Imagination as described by Robert Johnson. 30 min in there drained my energy. Not much speaking, but a lot of strong imagery. Anybody who doubts the power of the unconscious, or its independence from the ego must try it.
