Special thanks to our Advisory Board member Hilde De Weerdt Hilde De Weerdt EarlyModern_KULeuven IISG on her great remarks on #digitalhumanities and what it really means for #historians. Positive insights and encouragement for the #QuantitativeHistory #QH communities here! 🙌 #QH

Day 1 of the 10th International Symposium on #QuantitativeHistory saw inspiring research from our keynote speakers. Our advisory board members in action: 📉📈Stephen Broadberry University of Oxford explored "Innovation and the #GreatDivergence", while 🛣️ Hilde De Weerdt Hilde De Weerdt

This was not an average summer school but rather an intensive series of discussions about historical research among a community of historians & social scientists. The students were impressive in all sorts of ways. Looking fwd to the next 10 years of this Centre for Quantitative History program.

What an incredible final day at the #QHSummerSchool2024! 🙌 We were honored to hear from Hilde De Weerdt EarlyModern_KULeuven IISG on "Analysing and Interpreting Data in Context", as well as a 3-part lecture series from Tuan-Hwee Sng NUS covering "Theory and #EconomicHistory",
