One of my favourite local walks - we wandered here again today, through Armadale woods and up the hill, with views of Knoydart over the Sound of #Sleat #Skye.
After days of #Skye rain, the weather finally cleared today and I walked to the cairn and looked down at Aird of #Sleat and beyond, over the Sound to Mallaig and Knoydart.
Leaving #Skye for a few days to go to a wedding - despite the chilly morning, the sea looked tropical 🌞 Nice views of the Isles of #Eigg and #Rum from the Armadale - Mallaig ferry.
The ridge of high pressure continues in #Skye #Sleat, with the sea a vivid blue and turquoise at Camas Daraich beach - photo taken on the way to the Point of Sleat, a good walk if you’re in the area. The wild, windy winter weather seems a distant memory 🙂
Helping a friend launch their kayak in the early morning light at Armadale Bay in #Sleat #Skye. This evening the weather has turned windy and cloudy, after two weeks of sunshine and blue skies.
After a wet Easter weekend, Easter Sunday turned into a lovely day and we took the wee inflatable Honwave out for a spin around the Sound of #Sleat #Skye.
A beautiful, clear turquoise sea today in #Aird of #Sleat #Skye - sunny with a cool northerly breeze. I love the long summer days - still light at nearly 10pm and it’s only the start of May.
