There's a masculinity to this version of Superman I think really works. He feels bulky and just a regular, decent guy from the mid-west. I think kids are going to go nuts for this. He's not impersonating anyone else. Corenswet has brought the goods. Well done, James Gunn!

This is the best scene in Superman. In less than 5 minutes, Gunn completely nails Superman and Lois' relationship, the tone of the DCU, and the logic of a world with constant superhero mayhem. This is what makes DC different.

Maybe the DCU is Lex’s story.
