Today the Principal led assembly alongside our Head of School James West, and the two deputies Jonah Power and John Cunningham. Ms Williamson spoke about celebrating positive change and reminded us of the importance of participating fully in every aspect of the curriculum

As part of the School Scout Group’s centenary celebrations, RBAI Governor & Scout Group Trustee Dawson Stelfox MBE (RBAI 1969-76) will give a special talk about leading the first Irish team to ascend Mount Everest on May 27th 1993.

Our P1 boys have been enjoying joining with VCB P1 girls for shared learning. 🌳 From singing and making music together to exploring Forest School, it has been wonderful to see friendships develop and the boys and girls have fun and learn together.

Congratulations to the Inchmarlo football team who successfully won the Prep Sports Football Festival 2025. A fantastic run of results including five victories and one draw, meant the Inchmarlo team finished the tournament on 16 points and claimed a well-earned victory!

On Friday, we were delighted to welcome Master of Music, Jack Wilson and Reverend Cameron Mack from St Anne’s Cathedral for a special assembly! Mr Wilson spoke to the boys about his musical work and led the whole school in some fun vocal warm-ups.

It is nearly quiz night! We have food catered by Orchard Hills and a superb quiz master - some lovely prizes and a special unveiling of a beautiful something that we are sure you would love to have in your homes… come and join us on 25th Sept 7-9pm!

P3 were delighted to be able to explore an Alpine Sunbeam as part of their travel and transport topic. They had fun comparing and contrasting a vintage car to a modern day one.

History has come to life for our P6 class! We're exploring the world of Vikings in our WAU lessons, and the #CCEA Minecraft Viking lessons have been a huge hit. The boys have been busy learning essential survival skills, building shelters, and creating their own longhouses.

Another wonderful Friday Celebration Assembly today! As well as recognising our boys’ fantastic achievements across the week, we were delighted to present extra certificates to those who recently took part in their Speech and Drama exams

Well done to the P6 hockey team who took part in a hockey blitz at Campbell. It was encouraging to see the boys competing well against P7 opposition and showing great sportsmanship throughout!

Today in Forest School we had fun looking for the signs of Autumn in our beautiful school grounds. We then went to pick the crab apples from our crab apple tree! Mrs Conly is going to make some crab apple jelly with these! 🍎

An ‘Amazing Migration’ morning today for P5. We absolutely loved our visit to WWT Castle Espie (@wwtcastleespie) where we had fun learning all about flight and migration. The perfect way to deepen our understanding and bring our classroom topic to life 👏🏼🦅🦆

What a brilliant time our P6 boys had kicking off our Shared Education partnership with St Bride's PS and Victoria Prep! A massive thank you to the staff and pupils at St Bride's PS for hosting a wonderful Arts and Wellbeing Session.

🍎 Apple Taste Test Fun!🍏 This afternoon we became apple detectives! The boys tried red, green and yellow apples to find out which was their favourite. After tasting, they coloured in their chosen apple and we used their pictures to make a pictogram together.

A slight change of scene from the computer suite this week for ICT. Using the bee-bots and the bee-bot apps the boys had good fun and were introduced to computer programming 🐝
